  1. New
  2. Creates a new edit window. Enter the name and details for each column. Columns may be either linear or levels (for factor variables).
  3. Open
  4. opens an existing file with GLMStat format
  5. Close
  6. Closes the edit window and saves file as required
  7. Import
  8. Imports data from a text file (tabs or spaces as separators)
  9. Save
  10. Saves file in GLMStat format
  11. SaveAs
  12. Saves file under a different name either in GLMStat or text format with tabs as separators.
  13. Revert to Saved
  14. Returns to last saved version of file
  15. Preferences
  16. Allows various methods to be specified. These are:
  17. pValues
  18. Specifies whether pValues will be calculated for results obtained. Currently this is only performed for parameter estimates but in future will be performed for Deviances.
  19. Beep when finished
  20. Causes the current system beep to occur when a Fit is completed.
  21. Default Residual Method
  22. Sets the residual method (in Define dialog) used for new files.
  23. Page Setup
  24. Allows specification of printer characteristics prior to printing.
  25. Print
  26. Print the frontmost window (either data, GLM or graph) to selected printer.
  27. Record
  28. Opens or closes the Record file which contains the results from the analysis. This output will be a record of all text sent to the GLM window.
  29. Quit
  30. Leaves program
